Tali has been touring Greece for many years, tasting the unique Greek food in multitude of restaurants,
taverns, ouzeries, and private homes throughout the provinces of Greece; from gourmet meals prepared by expert chefs in Athens and Thessaloniki, to traditional home-cooking in the kitchens of the Greek mamas of the villages and small towns.
Tali holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and an MBA in Finance, and held senior management positions for over 20 years: co-founder and first CEO of the Jerusalem College of Engineering; CEO of the Technion, one of the world’s leading institutes of science and engineering, and Director General of the Council for Higher Education. In the past she played basketball on the national team.
Dr. Stein managed thousands of workers and specialized in incentivizing and rewarding employees and motivating and empowering executives at different levels of the organization.
Cooking and baking were always her passion and an important part of Tali’s life. When she decided to leave management and embark on a second career, she turned to Greece and Greek cooking and chose to share her love for this special country and its wonderful food.
